Coin Strike
Coin Strike is one of those games that explains itself in five seconds and then keeps you hooked for an hour. You flick coins across a board, trying to knock them into scoring zones and chain reactions off other pieces. The physics feel weighty and predictable, so when a shot goes wrong it's on you, not the engine.
The whole thing runs on one thumb. You drag back to aim, adjust the power with how far you pull, and release. Later stages add moving targets and tight corners that force you to think about ricochets instead of brute force. There's a nice rhythm to planning a two-bank shot and watching it land.
What won me over is how fair it feels. Levels are short, restarts are instant, and the difficulty climbs in a way that teaches you rather than punishes you. It's a perfect game for short breaks, and I kept telling myself one more board well past the point I meant to stop.
What we liked
- Instant restarts, zero friction
- Satisfying, readable physics
- Great for short sessions
