Nitro Verge leans into the fun side of racing. The handling is forgiving, drifts are exaggerated, and the sense of speed is genuinely good once you tune a car to your taste. The career mode threads races together with just enough structure to keep you going.
Tilt and touch steering both work, and I settled on touch after a few races. Upgrades feel impactful rather than cosmetic, and the rival system gives you someone to actually beat.
Track variety thins out in the late game, and some corners repeat. Still, as a pick-up-and-race option it delivers the goods.
