RPG Progression That Doesn't Waste Your Life
Bad progression is the quiet killer of mobile RPGs. Too many of them stretch every reward across hours of repetitive fights, hoping you'll stop noticing. The good ones do the opposite.
When I review an RPG, I watch for the gap between meaningful choices. In Emberfall Saga, every level-up asks a real question: do you want reach, survivability, or utility? That keeps your brain engaged even forty hours in.
The second thing I check is whether the grind is optional or mandatory. A game that lets skilled play skip the grind respects you. A game that forces it is just stalling.
If you're hunting for a good mobile RPG, play the first two hours critically. Ask whether you're making decisions or just tapping through. The answer usually tells you everything.
